Katie Weyandt
Physical Therapist, DPT

Katie received her undergraduate degree and doctorate of physical therapy from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. While at Marquette, Katie was a volunteer at the school’s pro bono Physical Therapy clinic, treating underserved populations with various orthopedic and neurologic conditions under the guidance of a licensed PT. Katie grew up locally doing competitive gymnastics, which is how she first found the field, and thus enjoys treating gymnasts and performing arts athletes. While in college and PT school, Katie picked up distance running as a new hobby. She enjoys working with athletes and active individuals of all ages. She enjoys being able to emulate sport demands with exercises during the later stages of rehab to facilitate a smooth return to sport.

Katie was initially interested in the field after having PT for a few injuries when she was growing up. She was introduced to the profession this way and found it unique in the amount of time PTs are able to spend with their patients. She enjoyed being able to spend time with people and combine her science interests into a career.

Currently, Katie is a Graston provider. She treats at both our Willowbrook and Naperville locations. Within the next year she is looking to take the first level of ART courses and trigger point dry needling to be able to use these techniques in the clinic and broaden her clinical skill set to best serve our patients at Achieve.
