Melissa Moravek is a recent graduate from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences with a concentration in Aging. During her time at the University of Illinois, Melissa was a research assistant in the Exercise Psychology Laboratory where she conducted research relating to the benefits of exercise programs on the physical and cognitive health of cancer survivors. 

She was a dancer for 15 years, has been trained in classical ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and poms, and was the captain of her high school dance team. Melissa also spent many years as a gymnast and cheerleader.

Next year, Melissa will be attending Belmont University in Nashville to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and hopes to specialize in Sports Medicine. She is excited to be a part of the Achieve team and looks forward to being able to treat patients of her own.
