Madison Podjasek
Physical Therapist, PT, DPT

Madison is an experienced physical therapist with a comprehensive background in human movement, performance, and rehabilitation. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During her time there, she worked in a nutritional neuroscience research lab and served as an athletic training aide for the University of Illinois' Big Ten football team, the Fighting Illini. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Madison has gained experience in a variety of settings, including time abroad in Switzerland and Italy, where she contributed to research focused on optimizing ACL rehabilitation outcomes in athletes. She also trained at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, on the spinal cord injury unit, where she worked with patients recovering from complex neurological injuries. Additionally, she provided pro bono physical therapy services to underserved communities in Puerto Rico (pictured to the left). These experiences helped develop her interest in patient-centered care that takes a holistic approach to rehabilitation and recovery.

She enjoys treating a wide range of conditions with particular interest in orthopedic injuries, neurological rehabilitation, and movement optimization. Madison’s approach combines clinical reasoning with biomechanics, muscle performance, and neuroplasticity, while also taking into account sleep, stress, and nutrition to help patients recover and perform at their best.

Outside of the clinic, Madison stays active through golf, lakefront runs, group fitness, and cold plunging. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring new restaurants across Chicago.
