Melissa Stoch

Melissa is a physical therapist and clinic manager at Achieve Orthopedic Rehab Institute -Willowbrook. As a former athlete, she is driven by helping athletes of all levels return to the activities they love. Melissa has experience working with athletes ranging from professional to youth sports. She has previously been one of the Team Physical Therapists for the Chicago Stars FC for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 seasons, as well as Team Physical Therapist and Assistant Softball Coach for St. Laurence High School from 2020-2025. Currently, she is working as the Team Physical Therapist for Benedictine University.

Melissa received her Bachelor's in Psychology with a concentration in Physical Therapy from Benedictine University in 2016. During her time there, she was an All-Region Softball Player and gained early clinical experience as an aide in the athletic training room. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University in 2019.

Since entering the field, Melissa has taken various courses to help promote her patient-centered approach and advanced skillset. She holds specialized certifications in trigger point dry needling (TDN) and blood flow restriction (BFR), and has leadership and instructor training that has supported her role as a clinic leader and mentor.

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her husband and 3 dogs.
